On a complete and utter whim , I entered into the Project Yellow Light scholarship competition that is all about bringing young voices, creativity, and safe driving into one brilliant blender and sloshing out something quite amazing, with gooey gooey goodness and heart at the center of it all.With the help of some paper cut-out animation on a multi-plane, I managed to snag the College level Advertisement spot, which was aired on over 1,000 television networks across the U.S.

Fun little personal project that tries to answer the question 11 year old me once asked: Did Ramones actually hire a sheep to do the backing vocals on “I Wanna Be Sedated”?[entire puppet, set, and props all made by me (as well as voiced by yours truly) using scraps and old clay I had lying around]
Semi-personal project made for Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio animation contest, hosted in 2023 to drum up excitement for the film’s debut. Mr. Del Toro posed a very simple question: “What does Pinocchio mean to you?”This is not my most technically sound work, animation wise, but it still has a raw heart that I simply can't keep tucked awaty in a folder.

Ollo!The name’s Matilda (she/her), but my friends call me Tilly.Born in Viareggio, Italy, I would say I am “simply” a walking, talking museum of everyone and everything I have ever loved, a product of one superhuman single mum, the wonders and horrors of the world via travel, and too many DVD movies. Stop-motion and its intricacies just so happen to be one of the many ways I display it all. At times, it feels like the only medium where my work and voice can truly thrive.I’m currently working and working and, oh, working away at my BA in Animation at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey in the U.K. In-between studies, I work wherever I can to fuel my dreams, and am hungry for any and all internships and work experince I can get my hands on. No opportunity is too big or too small in my book!
